I managed to get 4 pairs of jeans, a light purple button-down (not pictured ‘cuz it’s dirty from my interview, fingers crossed!), two shirts, a cardigan and a purse for $50. Where else can you get a deal like that? I’ve been a little MIA lately because I got a contract job at an automotive supplies company and by the end of the work day I’m exhausted. I’m gone for 11 hours because of a 40+ minute commute each way. I’m enjoying it and it’s my first cubicle job. In two weeks over 1,600 estimates have been done, that’s not even counting purchase orders! I’ll be working until the end of March so I’m glad to be less stressed about having to pay for my student loans.

Student Discount Day at Sal Vay

Salvation Army has been treating me well lately. Every Thursday is 25% off for student and teachers. I’m addicted. Here’s what I got (minus tax):

H&M circle dress $2.25, Nike “human race” shirt $3.75, Red shirt $3 , Forever 21 peasant blouse $2.25, Grey leopard cardigan $4.50, White Fioni shoes with black dots $6, Dusty Rose belt $3. Not pictured (dry-cleaning): Calvin Klein(!!) black pea coat $11.

I forgot to post my current bag (big enough for my netbook!) that I got for $5.

I spotted this vintage Oscar de la Renta shirt on my way to the register. I was surprised to say the least. It has some shoulder pads that make it a little dated but it’s not that bad. There are ties at the neck for a loose bow. It was only $3!!
