Most is self-explanatory but you don’t know WHY and that’s why I’m here to tell you.
The brain = I want to go to graduate school for neuroscience and I am fascinated by the brain.
The shopping cart = Note this: I do not love all types of shopping. I like bargain shopping and window shopping. I hate electronics and food shopping.
The coffee = I love caffeine. I don’t think most of the college students would make it to graduation without this.
The paw print = I love animals but I’m definitely a dog person more than a cat person. No huge animals or ones that can be mean. My smooth-haired fox terrier died a couple years back after a crazy 15 years. Her name was Snickers (born on Halloween!) and I can barely remember anything before her. She ate through a few couches, bit a few people, got hit by a car, punctured some D batteries so we had to get a room recarpeted, and literally ran faster than a great Dane (no kidding, she was doing circles around it and nipping at its ankles!).
The laptop = That was my first personal computer. It now acts as a desktop because the battery won’t work (has to be plugged in 24/7), it overheats (plugged in to fan 24/7), and the wireless broke (I got a dongle so it works now). I miss its large screen. I use a netbook now.
The trees = I love nature and I genuinely enjoy recycling and try to live as green as possible. It helps that my college a pretty good recycling program so it’s easy for me. Also, my boyfriend is going into environmental law and my dad is the king of nature. He’s the guy that goes “ssshh! There’s a cat bird around here!” Seriously, there is a bird called that. He also knows all types of flowers and has made our yard amazing. He worked manual labor for 40 years at a cemetery as a groundskeeper (aka gardener).
Lisa Simpson = This spiky haired yellow gal is my hero. The Simpsons is a great tv show and Lisa is the brightest, wisest, most hilarious girl on tv. She will always be my favorite Simpson and yellow feminist.
Hit Girl = This bad-ass purple-haired assassin is simply kick ass. I love beat-’em-up films more than romantic comedies and I would love to learn how to really fight one day. Also, I want purple hair.
Sexy times people = Long term monoagamous relationships need this. Also, my minor in college was Sexual Health.
The scale = Oh my nemesis. I’m around 25 pounds lighter than my heaviest but I’m still around 25 pounds away from my goal. I’m not obese by any means but I’m definitely overweight. I’ve had some bad weight loss methods in the past and I’m just trying to do it the healthy way this time.
Recycling arrows = I would love it if everyone recycled. There is a huge problem with availability of facilities, especially for people with low incomes that can’t afford a service. If I wasn’t doing psychology I would work in environmental science.
Stewart/Colbert ’12 = Honestly, if they ran, I would vote for them. I would volunteer for their campaign. Their shows remain a favorite of mine after years of watching and I feel lost whenever they take 2 week breaks.
Feminist fist = I am a proud feminist.
Mannequin = I have a secret passion to design clothes and I love fashion.
Camera = I love photography and I wish I was better at it.
Skull = No, I am not Mexican but that doesn’t mean I can’t share in the sentiment of Dia de los Muertos. I believe in spirits continuing after death.
Pill bottle = Isn’t everyone medicated nowadays?
Earth = I love it. The land, the sky, the water, the people (most hehe). I want to travel all over.
Beer = I’m in college at a notorious party school. I never was much of a drinker or partier but everyone brings it up when they mention my college; it’s annoying. Why would I not have beer on here is a better question?
Pile of books = I have to read so much for school. I can’t wait to read books of my own choosing soon!
Blythe = I love this large-headed boggle-eyed cutie! The fashion lets me explore my inner designer and I am in love with anything miniature.
TV = I am obsessed. I watch a lot online due to my schedule and I could geek out so fast for any of my favorites.
Assortment of arts and crafts supplies = I couldn’t live without my crafting supplies. I need a creative outlet and arts and crafts is it!
Gir = Invader Zim. Look it up if you don’t know it. Wacky and lovable, just like me.
Photoshop = i taught myself in 7th grade and I love fooling around with photos and drawings.
Old-School Lady = I was raised conservatively and now I feel like an Enlightenment period person who learned about the logic of reason!
